Teach each lesson with a guide in hand.

Routines you will use every day
My turn, your turn
Say the word or sound once clearly. The class repeats together, then two or three children answer alone.
I Do, We Do, You Do
You model it, the class practises with you, then each child tries independently.
Check everyone
After choral practice, ask individuals. Do not judge mastery from the loudest students.
Correct immediately
Model the right answer, have the child repeat it, and return to the same item later.
Urdu where it helps
Use Urdu briefly to make the task clear or check meaning. The target words, sounds and reading stay in English.
- Listen.
- سنو۔
- Look.
- دیکھو۔
- Say it with me.
- میرے ساتھ بولو۔
- Your turn.
- اب تمہاری باری۔
- Write the letter.
- حرف لکھو۔
- Read the word.
- لفظ پڑھو۔
A mastery check every Friday
A child is ready for the next week when they meet at least four of the five criteria. The others get a ten-minute small-group review first.
