About these terms
These terms apply to everyone who uses roshanraah.us, which is run by Roshan Raah. By using the website or creating an account, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
The service
Roshan Raah is free. It offers a library of teaching materials for Kindergarten to Grade 3, accounts for teachers and schools, and forms for schools and volunteers. We may add, change, pause or stop parts of the website at any time.
Accounts
- You need a code to create an account: a school code for teachers, a one-time code for head teachers, and a one-time code from our team for team members.
- Give your real name and an email address you use.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- Each account is for one person. Do not share it.
- Head teachers should give the school code only to teachers at their school, and can replace it at any time.
- We may remove an account that breaks these terms. If a school is closed, its accounts stop working.
Using the teaching materials
You may download, print, copy and share the materials free of charge to teach children and to help other teachers do the same. You may not sell the materials, charge for access to them, or present them as your own work. The materials remain the property of Roshan Raah or the people who made them.
Adding and editing content
Team members who add files or change the words on the website must only add material they are allowed to share. Do not put personal information about children, such as names or photos, in uploaded files.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the website to break the law or to harm, harass or mislead anyone.
- Do not try to reach accounts, pages or data you have not been given access to.
- Do not upload files that contain viruses or other harmful code.
- Do not overload the website or collect its content with automated tools, apart from normal search engine indexing.
School requests and volunteer offers
Sending a school request or a volunteer offer does not create an agreement. We decide which schools to approve and which offers to take up, and we contact people outside the website.
No guarantee
We work to keep the materials accurate and the website available, but we provide both as they are, without any guarantee. Teachers should use their own judgement about what suits their class.
Limits on our responsibility
As far as the law allows, Roshan Raah is not responsible for any loss that comes from using the website or the materials, or from not being able to use them.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the website after a change, the new terms apply.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Pakistan decide any dispute about them.
